👋 Hey Artists: It's OK to not "go pro" as an artist. You don't have to sell your work, you can create just for yourself. That's totally valid!! 💪 I realize a lot of the stuff I tweet is geared towards ppl who want to be pro artists, but I just felt it worth saying.💕

Found a break down about grouping crowds that never made it off my HD, so I thought I’d share. I “feel my way through compositions, but I am keeping things in mind. When possible, I try to create irregular patterns for visual interest with crowds.1/4

THIS 👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥 Also take “better artists” as inspiration and goals. Find what makes their art “good” and try to incorporate it into yours. Ever since I also changed my mindset I’ve been improving my art faster in comparison to when I was super negative. 💪

Hey artists, I also used to think to myself, "my art sucks" because in comparison to other people's art, DANG! "I can never be on the same level as them!" It was a struggle I had to go through often. But that was until I decided to change my mindset. I fought the negative-

No artist is ever 'good enough' Never let that dictate whether or not you seek what you desire. Chase it now, take what's yours, because the truth is we're always learning - always striving. There is no end to what an artist learns; there is only a passion to move forward.

tfw i feel bad for taking over 2 weeks with a commission but then i think about how the pope commissioned michelangelo to paint the sistine chapel and it took 4 years and he literally ran away twice cuz he hated painting and wanted to sculpt and the pope kept hunting him down

there's a stage of being a professional concept artist in which you stop giving a shit about most of the tiny little things you stress over as a hobbyist and suddenly your art just gets SO much faster and more efficient

Learning art always feels frustratingly slow A lot of the concepts are pretty easy to understand but really hard to apply It takes a lot of effort and repetition to get it ingrained in your brain There's no secret shortcut Just gotta keep grinding You got this

Hey, if you're a newbie dev and you love making games, and want to do your own thing AND get paid? There are a couple of ways that you can go about doing this. 1. Bootstrap - make games while you work for others in your day job (may or may not be games ) until you hit it big.
