Im about to say something you might not agree with: I liked Mayor Pete initially but, he got cocky, maybe he surprised himself idk. Now I know that he's selling himself as a the 'white Obama' and it's clearly working, white ppl love that. But black ppl ain't buying it.

President Trump going after Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s faith didn’t play well in this WH room filled with Trump supporters. Trump said of Pelosi, “I doubt she prays.” Several attendees groaned when he said that. Seems that comment was a bit too low even for Trump friendly crowd.

Trump just walked into the National Prayer Breakfast & didn’t bow in submission to God, but held up papers saying acquital & flaunted his supposed glory & victory. What’s worse, preachers & many other attendees applauded him.

More specifically, what black voters consistently told me was that their only priority... not their number one but their ONLY priority is beating Trump. They are realists who said every candidate has some past race issues but Bloomberg has $100 billion to beat Trump with.

Jared & Ivanka made $135 million last year despite having undefined government "advisory" positions in a blatant disregard for self-dealing regulations. This corruption has been normalized so it is no longer reported as a scandal.

After impeachment acquittal, Bill Clinton was "profoundly sorry." Trump not so much.

WATCH: When Bill Clinton was acquitted in his impeachment trial 21 years ago, he spoke for less than two minutes and said he was "profoundly sorry." By comparison, President Trump spoke for more than an hour and offered no apologies

Trump is a 2020 candidate. So Barr is declaring that he must clear any investigation into the president who he has served dutifully to this point. And should Trump want any Democratic opponent investigated, does anyone feel Barr would offer any resistance?

Today Trump’s narcissism is on full display. It’s troubling to see ppl cheer him, but it’s important for the nation to see this. Now America has a clear choice: is Trump who we want to be, or is it time for a vacation from the Presidency so he can work on himself?

100 million people who could have voted in 2016 stayed home. If you stay home this time, then it is in essence approval of his actions. The real question for America is, what will you do now?

It makes me profoundly sad that our country is at a point where this buffoon is loudly applauded by his party for making this type of comments. Publicly rewarding jurors who voted for him. We have work to do, friends. Lots of work.

Schiff on : I can tell you that after the Senate voted not to hear witnesses...we did approach John Bolton’s counsel, asked if Mr. Bolton would be willing to submit an affidavit under oath, describing what he observed in terms of the Prez’s Ukraine misconduct & he refused

I believe that the vast majority of Democratic voters do not want Bernie to be the nominee. Let's have a rollcall I do not want Bernie to be the nominee.

Scathing Op-Ed by Sen. Sherrod Brown: "In private, many of my colleagues agree that the president is reckless and unfit. They admit his lies. And they acknowledge what he did was wrong....They are afraid that Mr. Trump might give them a nickname."

If the Senate acquits Trump today, consider the following scenario: it’s October 2020. The poll numbers have Trump trailing the democratic nominee by double digits. Trump unexpectedly announces he will address the country on national TV. He steps to the microphone and says . . .

Mitch McConnell: My only goal is to make Obama a one-term president. Mitch McConnell: My proudest moment was telling Pres. Obama he can't fill a Supreme Court seat. Mitch McConnell: Let Trump corrupt his office. So what? Also Mitch McConnell: why can't the Speaker be civil??
