I’d like to be a fly on the wall in DC this morning to hear what ppl are saying in private about Andy Purdy’s remarks about Huawei. The former DHS/WH fed, now working as CSO for Huwaei, says the US opposes Huwaei simply because it doesn’t want it to beat the US in the marketplace
"The US believes that China wants to take over the world, and anything...that they think...helps China, they're against," Purdy told @Politico. "And it's a lot harder to create a technology...policy that helps drive America forward than it is...to draw a line in the sand here.'"
The ironic thing is that by cutting them out they are giving them the opportunity to create alternatives to everything we currently do hold market in. Like android OS. If they make their own they could eventually become the defacto OS instead of android.
The infinite mindset: Continue making products, even if we have to switch OS's. The finite mindset: Try to block products from being sold in 1 little place in the world. Literally an impossible position to maintain forever.

Hawei is being opposed because they wont "play ball" and the US has no other leverage over them. Either that or the NSA is askin for a back door and they are telling them to fk off. LOL
