  8. Spent today at a workshop on Jon Quong’s self-defense book at the University of Oslo. Jon somehow managed to respond to six papers in one day with analytical precision and grace. It was a pleasure to engage with him.

  9. This conference was so good. Format allowed for deep discussion, papers were interesting, questions were rigorous and charitable. Learned a ton. Grateful to have been a part of it. (Oh, and Doug Husak admitted I was right about negligence!)

John Gardner (1965-2019) was one of the greatest jurisprudents of our time. A grove of 54 has been planted in his memory in the Scottish Highlands. Would you consider adding a tree? please R/T.

Got puzzles? We’ve got the best puzzle makers —role morality (Leo Katz and Alvaro Sandroni) and reckless beliefs (Larry Alexander and Kevin Cole) and the best puzzle unravelers — cruelty to animals (Heidi Hurd) and blackmail (Peter Westen).
