19 years ago today the US bombed Bagdad. 1 million Iraqis dead. A war started with lies. No sanctions. No war crimes tribunal. Bush was laying flowers today in a Church for the victims in Ukraine demanding war criminals to be punished. How insane is that?

Yes the US did lots of terrible stuff.. But that doesn't make what Russia is currently doing any less cruel. This isn't the right time to relativate what's currently happening in Ukraine

Shock and awe - 4 weeks of relentless bombing of civilian infrastructure in Iraq prior to any ground troops. Thousands of sorties and missiles. Baghdad, Basra, Mosul, Nasiriyah, Karbala... no city was spared this ruthlessness. Yet these people pontificate now, incredible.

BTW , Iraq was a terrible dictatorship that days, Ukraine is a democracy. I agree to remove al dictators in power and establish democracies everywhere, is the only way countries can develop and people dont need to emigrate to third countries.
