@teamYoutube missing the mark again are we? Messed with verification, now you are messing with thumbnails, most likely looking for ways to teach your algorithm how to detect "non advertiser friendly" thumbs as well and making it affect them automatically?
Creators already have this STRONG feeling that whatever changes are happening to their content has mostly to do with control and censoring and basically nothing to do with improvements. This "saturation/exposure" issue with thumbs is nothing but a test for something bigger.

And considering the most recent actions youtube has been taking, plus the fact that they never, ever, EVER give creators any detail on what they plan on changing, usually replying with the "while we can't go into specifics *insert empty sentence here* excuse.

I am almost 100% sure that this thumbnail situation is yet another attempt to regulate creator's content by force, using "improvements" and "safety" as an excuse. Sorry
