  1. Well done , getting into a position where automatic promotion was within grasp then chucking it away.

Sailing’s gain will be political journalism’s loss when Leicester lad and matelot leaves the . He’s razor sharp, quick and respected by politicians across the spectrum as well as a good bloke.

Grubby, grabby, greedy and glib - Cameron’s destroyed what remained of his reputation. Discussing on in a mo how the chumocracy’s cronyism is the enemy of good government

The Gordon Brown wanting lobbying by ex-PMs and Ministers banned is a tower of probity and Cameron in the gutter

No coincidence Cameron breaks his silence when Government Ministers are(wrongly in my view) off the airwaves and the Duke of Edinburgh’s death dominates media coverage

The upside is Starmer isn't like Johnson because he's decent and honest. The downside is the Labour leader's also not like him because he hasn't won a General Election and isn't PM

Really feel for the family of Philip Mountbatten-Windsor but this public and media deification is OTT. I’ll make my way to the Tower

RIP a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who fought with distinction in WWII. I oppose the institution of monarchy and criticised many of his past comments but feel for a family mourning their lost loved one.

Booked a prized outdoor pub session for next Monday. Thought about swapping for a hair cut or selling the table on eBay(that would be akin to ticket touting which I hate) but I want to go for a pint. Thank you all in advance for the best wishes. Cheers 😆 🍺

The magnificent Pitman’s Parliament is to be revived in Durham city! Inspiring history, a glorious historic building and now a rosy future. Chuffed to bits
