Hence why HQ Trivia is such valuable ad space. Also: Have you read Rational Ritual?

I have not, but it looks interesting, will check it out! Seems loosely related to this SSC posthttp://slatestarcodex.com/2017/11/13/book-review-legal-systems-very-different-from-ours/ …

I highly recommend it. It's very short, ~100 pages. Essentially an analysis of common knowledge problems, with a focus in later chapters on ads. Includes an econometric breakdown of superbowl ad pricing and the common knowledge premium they charge.

strong second for Rational Ritual! It’s short but very potent. Also allow me to plug my own stab at some of these ideas (before I read RR): https://www.meltingasphalt.com/ads-dont-work-that-way/ …
