Yeah Fakespot is good. It’s also important to look at the # of reviews, not just average. I’ll take a 4.6 with 5000 reviews over a 4.9 with 50.

I do this and still have issues. I even look just at # of 1 star reviews (hard to fake) and still end up with crap. The amazon killer will source directly from factories, I think.
