Yeah that’s exactly what I’m worried about. It’s very easy to hear some of these horror stories and think, “It’s a tidal wave and it’s coming for all of us.” Much, much harder to tell if that’s actually the case.
Internet friends: I’d love to hear your personal experiences with regressive leftism. (Trying to take a measure of this thing....) All *first-hand* stories welcome.

I got accepted into the Loma Linda Masters program for social work two months ago. I was pretty excited about it and had plans to get a Ph.D right after. I dropped out of the program after I started reading some of the books for that semester.

It wasn't a light decision. I really was considering of doing three years for my masters while working and then immediately moving on to a Ph.D. But those textbooks were just a heap of crap. Most of it did not have anything to do with social psychology.

Regularly see people doing drugs or defecating in public, stealing bicycles, breaking car windows. SF doesn't seem to enforce laws among people deemed less fortunate.

I first started noticing the phenomenon around the time of the Trayvon Martin case. I lost a couple fairly good friends because I was still weighing new evidence as it came out during the trial.

They knew from the outset that Zimmerman was guilty, and the facts of the case weren't relevant. And I was a bad person for thinking the facts were relevant.
