I really appreciate Noah’s perspective here. It’s a healthy reminder (for me) that while extreme leftism does exist on college campuses, the outrage against it—by many conservatives, centrists, and libertarians—pattern-matches a moral panic...

Totally fair. Haidt and others that've fairly criticized both ends of the spectrum have been the most level-headed in all of this.
I cherish Haidt and am generally primed to adopt his take on things — which is all the more reason for me to listen carefully to Noah/etc. But yeah, Haidt has generally been level- and clear-headed on these things
