I see. I think of LW as pretty unobjectionable “reasoning best practices” stuff, but I could see how it gets ideological around AI risk/etc.

No, that stuff is awesome. But seeing prominent LW proponents fall into biases / ideologies themselves does undercut those points somewhat.

Main problem is treating axioms of macroeconomics -- a considerably debunked discipline -- as axiomatic himself. IE, "GDP" as useful measure
