Pomo does mostly degenerate into language games. But the most valuable insights have nothing to do with language; rather, ontology.
David, is it possible that LW is actually “meta-r” by your definition, even though it uses “r” to label itself?

I don’t see much meta-r reasoning on LW (although there’s certainly some).

They discuss whether the proper goal of rationality is truth or winning. That's one meta-r topic. Most is normative epistemology, though.

Meta-r means figuring out how particular ontologies relate to reality and therefore which to use when.
