What I look for in ppl I follow: 1. Able to teach me new things 2. High signal:noise ratio 3. Polite & agreeable 4. Original thoughts > RTs

i should prbly retweet fewer things but it's so hard to resist propagating good/funny/weird/insightful content
Don't let me sway you; lots of people seem to like RTs! One reason I'm less keen on them is that new faces/personas are hard for me to parse

Indeed. The RT was the one point I didn't understand/agree with. RTs reduce redundancy, give proper credit, and intro new peeps.
