      it shouldn't be! all meaning graphs of serious length have cycles (but that doesn't mean that they don't have dead ends) @KevinSimler

      Cycles seem wrong to me, since arrows in meaning graphs are in the spirit of "why" questions/"because" clauses. Cycles = question-begging.

          Cycles make sense if you stop thinking about them as being static over time. Given that they rely on cached values, cycles are natural.
