I've used them all. The best one is now defunct—I think by

I've also built iOS Safari extensions to block Reddit, Hacker News and the Facebook newsfeed. The only one that's still effective is Forest.

I tried but they didn't work at all (StayFocusd for chrome, beeminder, etc.)

Their premise is kind of self-defeating: if I can commit to using such app, then I can commit to not engage in activities they protect from.
