Num followers is a terrible metric. Better to track someone's *de facto* followers, e.g., by using [average # of likes per top-level tweet].

for me what matters is # of good conversations I get to have. Which is sadly tiny despite # of followers
Yeah, that's also what I love about T. But it's hard to judge someone's convo-value up front. Hence the metric.
