I still haven’t read it—but nihilism is a big problem for an awful lot of STEM people, so it seems like a good fit there!

This makes sense... nihilism as an extremist stance, like what you get when you take a limit at infinity (or s.t.)

Interesting you use that word… the Buddhist philosophical system that’s the basis for Meaningness describes “Four Extremes,”

of which nihilism is one.
