So a begging-of-your-question: can you actually improve MQ by "intelligencing" it like an argument or an emotional response?
I take "intelligence" as synonymous with "faculty" in this context. Improving takes practice, not necessarily armchair thinking.

My (almost worthless) gut sense is that MQ can be "intelligenced" about as much as EQ.
