I think there may be a variable being ignored here: low familiarity to intimacy. Seems weird to call intimate comms 'signaling'

That's why we have name for these superagents: couples, teams, etc. The signaling phase is done. It's the melded phase.

That's one way to model it, but of course there are still two agents involved. That's why we celebrate our S.O.s on anniversaries etc.

If it's a signal at all, there is distance and unfamiliarity involved. Intimate comms is more a single meta agent self-talking
