Hmm, are we sure the hypothetical person in question is a psychopath and not merely a narcissist?
FWIW (not sure I buy this), Hintjens says that narcissism is part of the psychopath's strategy, one of his "masks."

Yeah, obviously all psychopaths should be narcissists, but the reverse feel like a stretch. Who knows.
