@walkerdavide Two options (simplified): it's hard to get life off the ground, or intelligent life always blows itself up. -
@walkerdavide Former means Great Filter is behind us — but we made it through already! Yay! Latter means GF is ahead of us. Uh oh. -

@walkerdavide Yeah, very possible the universe is in fact teeming with (hidden) intelligent life. We can hope(?), but doesn't seem like it
