"Spaces vs tabs" is TWO questions not one. There is "do you hit the tab key?" (ok) and "do you save tab characters in a file?" (evil)

@KevinSimler Absolutely. Too many people conflate the two issues. I'm sympathetic to storing tabs but in practice they never render well.
@rtoal yeah I think spaces is the more prominent Schelling point, but not by a huge margin
