Kant argued that people can't "see" outside their theoretical lenses. Does anyone know who makes a similar argument for narrative lenses?

@KevinSimler oh just that it's typical american philosophy writing and very taxing to read (especially compared to the other sources)
@sarahdoingthing I was weaned on American philosophy writing, but I see how it's an acquired taste :P
