FWIW, I would fully support shareholders taking up lawsuits. I’m also interested in exploring other models for growth. Genuinely don’t know what’s best here....

A corporation is an explicit contract to make money. It stewards most of our society's savings on that basis! To announce it will stop is like your bank announcing it's going to withdraw cash from your account and send it to the ACLU. Only ok if it was made clear from start.
