this has long been my bias, but a worry just occurred to me: most kids are trapped in state-run indoctrination camps. giving them the vote could make the indoctrination more intense?

Absolutely agree. In middle school I didn’t even know what was considered poor or rich, I didn’t know about welfare or how a business worked. Yet, I was shown multiple Michael Moore films about how poor people are oppressed by the rich and how corporations are evil.
