Did you go cold turkey or slowly wean off? I'm considering doing this.

Omg slow weaning. My head would explode if I went cold turkey. I actually should have gone down slower (today was really hard). I took about a 5-day ramp, but didn’t plan it very carefully. Previously I’ve done a 7-day ramp with precise doses of caffeine pills.

Caffeine definitely disrupts my sleep, and caffeine withdrawal disrupts my mood, so I'd like to cut out caffeine as well.

I have been told by doctors to cut off caffeine for a couple of months and observe the effects in an unrelated issue I’m having. I love coffee and I was sad at first, but now I’m having way less trouble sleeping in a regular pattern, so I’m thinking I’ll keep mostly off it.

How are you feeling so far? I love coffee and this is precisely why I do a caffeine detox every once in a while. It worked best when I quit caffeine, alcohol & other substances for a month. Powerful stuff.
