It was easier for me to unfollow when twitter didn’t show who follows you back and how large swaths of your friends follow that person. Ingrained peer pressure / reciprocity bias

I dated a guy who built an extension to show if someone was following you before Twitter had it built in, seemed so masochistic to me.
