Beautiful and poignant. FWIW, I don’t personally feel like I’m working in the idea mines. (Maybe because it’s a hobby/side job for me?) But I can empathize, and love the idea of basic as an escape/antidote/countersignal.

I definitely go through cycles! Book writing in isolation this year has been rough. Hobby/side job makes it more enjoyable :)
