Depending on how you slice it, we have ~8 sensory systems: —Vision —Hearing —Touch —Taste —Smell —Vestibular (balance) —Interoception (internal organs) —Propriocetion (joints/muscles) Idea: modeling introspection as a 9th “sensory system” Is this stupid? Profound? Fruitful?

What about the sense of orientation?
head orientation is provided by the vestibular system, limb orientation by the proprioception system

I meant orientation as in finding your way through a new city. Not sure if it is more a skill than a sense tho.
