I’m not a fan of his Twitter feed. Friends I’ve spoken with are also turned off by it. But at this point I’ve listened to most of his podcast appearances, and in that format he’s much less of a provocateur. In fact he’s highly empathetic — not to mention broad, cogent, incisive.

He recently launched his own podcast, The Portal. Ep. 1 was a 3-hour interview with Peter Thiel. Among other things, I loved the extended discussion on political violence. But ep. 2, in which he describes his plans and goals for the podcast, has me unreasonably excited.

The podcast was much more relaxed then his feed. But this is likely due to the different mental environment of twitter threads vs just chatting.

I forget if we discussed this. But agree on podcast abunch Loved first episode. Kinda wish could subscribe to podcast that was just recurring two hours of the two of them. Always enjoy when you see people who clearly have dynamic together.
