best we can get are exposed rotating updrafts. it would be really hard to see (but possible for the hefty ones) but parent cloud will essentially always obscure view
only caveat... if viewing angle is really low, say it's GOES-17 looking at storms on East Coast. Essentially you could see more in vertical, parent cloud may not obscure. Would have to be perfect. So essentially no... sorry, long answer.
