Maybe the main reason I write/build/create is to get an idea out of my head so that I can just stop thinking about it. A side effect: I doesn't matter if the idea succeeds or fails, because the goal is to just make more room in my head.

stream metaphor is like funnel one. Better if loops;) then would be intuitive to people why this happens and matter!

Things downstream actually *don't* propagate upstream. the analogy causes confusion and makes people think it's uni-directional It's not a stream, it's a loop that compounds on itself. And unconstraining the most blocked part has the biggest benefits to entire system!

but what about e.g. constipation? why does treating it like a stream cause confusion?
