The more you become the most unique version of yourself, the less you become part of a communal identity meant to supersede the self. To some extent, there’s a tension btw pursuing individuality & community. That is to say, the more you're one of a kind, the more you're alone.

Definitely agree at the macro level. Feels like this small, expanding circle on Twitter is actually somewhere we can appreciate each other for that uniqueness. It's 100% why I come, to see people like yall and feel average. We should pool resources and have a "conference"
