What are some product categories you're very particular about, enough to have purchased 3+ different versions of the product? Which version did you settle on, and what do you like about it?

what a fun question! realizing that where I've bought duplicate products that aren't consumables, I almost always use the different versions for different use cases

oh except fountain pens - I have several but only use my ten-year-old plastic lamy safari

weird, I totally had you pegged as someone finicky about her products.... maybe because I’ve heard you gush about Lamys in the past, and just assumed it was part of a broader pattern

I'm finicky! but this made me notice my pattern of being so finicky that rarely can one product fill its whole niche in my life (running shoes, hand spindles, headphones, I still use an old iPod shuffle sometimes when phone is too heavy)

hats oh man I have a lot of different weird ones for different use cases

I probably have 20 shawls but I keep making more I love each one so much and there are still gaps in my shawl game
