very particular about cooking utensils, which I think is justified since it involves directly dealing razor edges and open flames. I've probably gone through 5 or 6 different varieties of 8" chopping blade. probably 3 or 4 different versions of tongs.

What are good tongs? (CC:
@drethelin) I did this to myself about a year ago because of bad tongs (+ general stupidity!)pic.twitter.com/HIhVrP8IjG

Bags for me, I have two from Tom Binh, one from Minaal (one more on the way), one from peak design. Tom Binh organization is genius but style is eh.

I keep wanting to buy a nice bag (been eyeing Tom Bihn for years), but ultimately I think I don’t care enough! I’m too happy with my shitty/whatever bag :)

Sleep masks. No one does it properly. Bought many different types. Velcro stops working, elastic distends, doesn’t block all light, fabric comes apart. Haven’t found a mask that stays in good condition for over a month.

This is one of my categories! No idea if my preferences will translate to you or not, but I’m partial to this one: https://www.amazon.com/Alaska-Natural-Sleep-Blindfold-Smooth/dp/B00GSO1D9O … Downside: presses against your eyelids/lashes (gently) Upside: soft, good for side sleep, blocks almost all light
