What are some lifestyle choices or decisions you’ve made that most people would consider “unconventional”? — taking a different path, coloring outside the lines, etc. If those choices are in hindsight, how do you think about them now?

I had a crap childhood, single mum, very bad money stress etc. I was mindful / controlling (too much) of a lot of my decisions. One thing: I believed my mums advice on education being important. Only other thing I can think is: carpentry tools. I trust them!

I went to university to do an undergrad degree I thought I should have; finished it even though I didn’t get a lot out of it.

Had retail jobs in HS because I wanted my own money even though they sucked (although I was the youngest sales associate there so I probably lose some normie points).
