What are some lifestyle choices or decisions you’ve made that most people would consider “unconventional”? — taking a different path, coloring outside the lines, etc. If those choices are in hindsight, how do you think about them now?

It's okay to want things; desiring is bad if it is more craving than aspiration. With the First Noble Truth, I'd agree if phrased as 'We want things, often wanting things makes us feel bad for not having the things'. But it is possible to keep wanting things, purely

Take cakes. One should be able to look at cakes without feeling hungry; look at vast piles of wealth without envy, and gruesome pictures without revulsion. Same for lust, etc. I think trying these would be a good exercise!
