What are some lifestyle choices or decisions you’ve made that most people would consider “unconventional”? — taking a different path, coloring outside the lines, etc. If those choices are in hindsight, how do you think about them now?

I chose (was persuaded by gf) to be poly in patriarchal Brazil at age 18. It's 14 years later and I loved every minute of it.

I think it does count, but given that I know that a zillion of your followers are poly and very few have mentioned it, obviously everyone thinks it's way too ordinary to mention. Never even come close to regretting it for a moment.
