only way I have of understanding this is only wanting certain things out of conversation, only certain topics -- some way of understanding conversation as a fundamental power dynamic. needless to say I wonder what you mean here
i think i understand... this is how i feel in group chats (but never in person or one-on-one). do you feel it even when sitting across from one other person?
