Being reasonable is like being an animal wearing a mech suit. If the mech suit is aligned with the direction the animal is going, it's great, and helps for communication and processing. If not, it's a drag, and there's "akrasia" from the perspective of the mech suit.

That being said, it’s possible to go through a process whereby reason becomes an articulated extension of the “true will,” hilariously, I think, in, possibly precisely, the Crowlian sense (“Do what thou wilt[...]”). 1/

And, critically, simultaneously, “true will” submits to (a) reason—causation, implication, transitive truth preservation, and (b) the “logic of goodness”, transitive telos, intrinsic motivation, and the lawful alteration thereof. They are duals at the bottom. 2/
