I want to love. This is likely central to my being, this intrinsic need to coordinate around loving another person. It’s how we define meaning.
Yes, at the psychological level I’m sure that’s right. I guess I’m seeking explanations at the level below that. “What’s the evolutionary game theory of love?” Etc.

However, “love,” as demonstrated independent of analytical contexts, *is* the lowest level. That’s what I’m discussing. The incentive is to synthesize it. The reward is some abstract energy, how love makes you feel, what it teaches, et al. It is not very reductive.
