We don't have great finesse yet but optimal play in our world seems to be some fluid integration of talking about politics, healing personal trauma, and intersubjective openness. I'm working closely with @HiFromMichaelV and @jessi_cata right now.

But can point to other people doing parts of the thing, e.g. a few parts of Leverage Research seem to have aligned intuitions in some ways, @SamoBurja is doing a piece of this, and Michael thinks that @reasonisfun is doing an aligned thing.

Despite the length of this thread I was probably pretty telegraphic, so I strongly invite you to ask for explanation/evidence for ANY part of this that isn't obvious to you, and DM me if you want to switch to a higher-bandwidth channe..

i am .so. on this wavelength right now, but it sounds like you’ve thought many more steps ahead... got some questions for you:

1. have you played avalon or the resistance? those are my models. they’re similar to werewolf but i wonder if you note any important differences

2. which public figures, if any, do you think are attempting to play/refine the villager strategy? (is this a useful question to ask?)

@DavidDeutschOxf seems to be playing Villager as well, albeit not really modeling the politics of it. The Beginning of Infinity and the Taking Children Seriously stuff stand out to me as things trying to be understood well enough that you *know whether you disagree and why*
