What do @robinhanson and @KevinSimler think of Ray Dalio’s approach to running Bridgewater?

I don’t have a particularly informed opinion, but have worked a bit with Bridgewater and know some folks who work(ed) there. I can tell you from first-hand experience that it’s a very epistemically hygienic and healthy culture. Very intellectually honest.
At least on the surface. I worry that the radical honesty merely pushes politics and self-deception to a more rarefied, sublimated stratum. But I think that’s a tradeoff worth making.
