I’m serious. I rely on other people’s sensitivities. Crowdsourcing canary-sense. I’m not particularly insensitive either. Just average. Mainly my attention is pretty inward directed most of the time so I’m just not paying a lot of attention to the external world to begin with.

Unless sensitivity to conceptual distinctions counts. It’s a processing sensitivity than a ‘pea’ type input sensitivity. Splitting over lumping Rooted in youthful insecurity about being lumped with others. Now sublimated into generally useful “A is not the same as B” sensitivity
