What are you especially sensitive to, the way the princess was sensitive to the pea?

-
1/Sure. The latter is most apparent in the personal realm, between spouses, or parent-child, where interdependence shows up without a quick way to hand off those responsibilities to someone else.
-
2/A mother might exasperatedly demand a hyper toddler to go to bed now, no questions asked, when what’s at play is her own frustration: a lack of control over her environment, and the use of her time. A need to “discipline” others has to be checked with our own need for control.

Bushra... was your Shannon and her daughter example language related? been a couple of years.
-
Yes! I adore Shannon’s approach with his daughter. He exemplified that how we respond to a typically “unfavorable” event is a reflection of the limits of our own understanding and self-control.
