This got me thinking... What book reviews/book summaries are arguably better than the book itself? For example, 80% of the value for 5% of the time. Tamara’s rec below is great. I think part of the appeal is that I already have a working model of gwern's way of thinking due to his extensive blog, so its easier to harvest that 80% than just a random summary I find.
