@KevinSimler Found myself perusing your science as spirituality stuff. A small thought: Religion has absurd beliefs to create commitment and boundaries. But so does science—it's just that those beliefs are always moving.

I think you're on the right track with the spiritual experiences thing. American Deism and other similar projects failed, I think, because they were efforts to de-personalize the world.

Not only was it emotionally unsatisfying, it didn't actually correlate with people's lived experiences.
