What do you think of poetic language (vs. saturating your diction with $20 latinate words)? It’s another way to prove work, but it doesn’t seem problematic in the same way....

I like it! The problem is that there is prejudice against poetic language. It inherently reads as less practical and rigorous. Even though it isn't any more wasteful than the awful style of modern academic papers or the mathematical and legal termdropping of financespeak.
