@KevinSimler I've been trying to think of religious categorizations in terms of Prestige Economies. Particularly with the idea that religions may be their own micro-economies, often with adverse relationship to wider prestige economy.

But I dunno, maybe there’s something to “limitlessly compounding.” The Christian idea of “all glory to God” has always been fascinating to me. Somehow I earn micro-economy prestige by paying tribute to God!

Yeah, it seems to me that normally, secondary prestige hits limits. If you suck up just because other people are, you get classified as a fake. But in the case of a God, some other dynamic is kicking in, I think.
